Evening Study on the book of Philippians
Hosted at Peoples UMC this Fall on Thursdays 6:30 to 8:00pm Thursdays September 25 – October 16. Peoples is located at 310 Broadway in South Portland, and we will meet in the “Parlor” off of Ellis Hall. Come in the doors closest to the corner of Broadway and Mussey Street. Morning Study, Making Sense of the Bible
Hosted at Cape Elizabeth UMC this Fall on Fridays 9:00 to 10:30am beginning September 27. We have a few books available or you can purchase your own, Making Sense of the Bible here at Amazon, or find used on Thriftbooks and other stores. This book by United Methodist pastor Adam Hamilton will help to make sense out of many difficult issues we find in the Bible, from genocide to homosexuality to women serving in church leadership. CEUMC is located at 280 Ocean House Road (Rt 77). Come in the side door and we will meet in the “Sunshinr Room.” You can sign up for Making Sense of the Bible here.
